I have my passport back. I have a visa! I have a ticket. I have plans. Why am I not bouncing off the roof? I'm happy and looking forward to it, but why am I not more excited? In fact why is it the closer it gets here the more tempted I am to say, "no thanks I'll just stay here".
Don't worry, I won't. I don't really want to. But right now that's how I feel sometimes.
Those are interesting feelings. My feeling is the closer the date gets the more surreal it feels. It feels like I was going to always be waiting and now that the waiting is over...who am I? I thought all I do is wait and now I need a new identity...oh wait..lesson planning. Enjoy the last few days!
